NRA Personal Protection Inside The Home (PPITH) Course


The PPITH course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a handgun for protection of self and family, and provides information on the law-abiding individual’s right to self-defense. Students will learn basic defensive shooting skills; strategies for home safety and responding to a violent confrontation; firearms and the law; how to choose a handgun for self-defense; and continued opportunities for skill development.

Turkey Shoot


Practice starts at 7:00pm and the shoot at 7:30.

All Shoots are Stock (unmodified shotgun) Shoots

What do you do?

Shoot Shotguns
You need to bring your own shotgun (12 gauge) + money
We shoot @ 5 x 5 paper targets with A Bullseye center @ 25 yards
Closest to the Bullseye wins

The cost is $5.00 per shot.

The profits from the turkey shoot goes to the parks' operating fund

Prizes vary from slab bacon, hams, turkeys etc.
