General Hunting Information in Virginia https://dwr.virginia.gov/hunting/regulations Hunting on the IWLA - Alexandria Chapter requires an additional permission slip from the Chapter. It can be found on the Hunting tab of the Chapter website.
For those NOT Hunting you should be aware that there may be hunters out in the woods.
If you desire to take a hike on the trails during hunting season, please check with the Caretaker to see if any hunters are hunting. ALL HUNTERS are REQUIRED to park in the parking lot and check in at the kiosk in front of the caretaker's house, place a pin showing where you will be and raise the flag. make sure to lower the flag and sign out before leaving.
