Description:
The IWLA is hosting a six week precision pistol league on Tuesday evenings starting on March 20 @5pm. This is an introduction to the sport beginning with a clinic and conducting practice drills each night to lead up to actual matches the last three nights. Match Fees: $20 Member $30 Non-Member first day. $10 each day after. Kids under 18 are free. Equipment: a .22 caliber rimfire handgun, a center fire handgun of .32 caliber or greater, and a .45 caliber handgun. A capacity of at least five rounds is needed. Bring what you got. Course of Fire: 30 shots total/match 1. Slow, 10 shots in 10 min at 50 yard target 2. Timed, 5 shots in 20 sec at 25 yard target, we shoot this twice 3. Rapid, 5 shots in 10 sec at 25 yard target, we shoot this twice Bring at least 100 rounds of ammo each night for practice drills. See attached flyer for schedule.
